Dr. Norifumi Fujimura started researcher at Sharp Corporation in Integrated Circuit Division. Then, he moved to Osaka Prefecture University as an assistant professor and started working on semiconducting, ferroelectric and multiferroic oxide thin films, and Si based diluted magnetic semiconductors. Now he is a professor of the Physics and Electronics, Osaka Prefecture University, Chair of the Photonic and Electronic Oxide, 166 committee of Japan Soc. for the Promotion of Science, and program committee chairman of the meeting on Ferroelectric Materials and Their Applications, as well. His research interest lies in the area of energy harvesting devices using vibration, thermal and photonic energies and the information technology such as neuromorphic logic and sensing devices using strongly correlated ferroelectric materials and 2D materials. He has more than 300 publications and 15 patents on ferroelectric materials and the memory device applications.
