Dr. Seung-Hyun KIM is an associate professor of engineering at Brown University. Prior to joining Brown, he was a senior executive vice president of MEMS related company and was the head of Research and Development Center. He has been active in ferroelectric, dielectric and piezoelectric thin films for electronic devices for the last 25 years. Prof. Kim’s research interests are in the area of piezoelectric and energy materials development and MEMS processing. He has published over 150 refereed journal papers and 200 presentations including 50 invited presentations, and has served as an organizing committee member of many international conferences. Prof. Kim’s educational and academic activities cover experimentation and applications of electronic materials and devices.
